Learn how to Play Solitaire through the official game rules.

The game is played individually in a competition for your position in the Daily, Weekly, Monthly, Annual Rankings, and also for your best individual score.

Description

• Player: 1 player.
• Deck: A standard 52-card French deck.
• Setup: 28 cards distributed in 7 columns and 24 cards in the stockpile.
• Objective: Organize the cards into 4 piles (one per suit) in ascending order from Ace to King.

Solitaire Game Setup

On the table, there are 7 columns of cards arranged. From left to right, the first column has one card, the second has two, and so on until the seventh column, which has 7 cards. Only the top card of each column is revealed, while the others remain face down.

At the top right, the cards that were not dealt onto the board are stored, forming the Stockpile. They should be used during the game to help form sequences and reveal hidden cards. New cards will be drawn from this stockpile (one by one or three by three, depending on the chosen rule).

At the top left, you will find the 4 foundations, ready for you to place, in ascending order, the cards of the 4 suits, starting with the Ace.

The Game

The objective is to place all the cards in ascending order, organized by suit, in the 4 foundations.

If you have a free Ace to move, place it in one of the foundations and continue with the 2 of the same suit and so on.

To unlock the hidden cards, it is necessary to rearrange the cards in the columns by alternating between red and black in descending order. When you completely clear a column, leaving it with no cards, you can place the K (King) of any suit there.

If you run out of moves, draw a card from the stockpile until you find a card that can be placed in one of the 7 columns or in the foundations.

Pay attention to the cards in the stockpile and the cards in the columns, as these are the ones that can help you unlock moves.

As you find the Aces, followed by the 2s, 3s, 4s, and so on, you can place them in the foundations.

Complete the 4 piles (from Ace to King) with the fewest possible moves and in the shortest possible time to earn more points and rank well.

Scoring

The player starts with 10,000 points, and at the start of the game, this score decreases according to certain criteria. See what leads to point loss:

• Lose 2 points per second elapsed after the first move;
• Lose 25 points for each mistake;
• Lose 10 points for using the hint;
• Lose 250 points for using the unlock feature.

Final Score

The player's final score in the match will be calculated by subtracting the points lost according to the above count, plus a bonus calculated using the number of moves as the divisor (500,000 / number of moves).

The fewer moves you make during the match, the higher your bonus will be.

Ranking

When playing MegaJogos Solitaire, you will be competing for your place in the MegaJogos Solitaire Ranking.

There are daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and overall rankings for both the Draw 1 and Draw 3 modes.

Definitions

• Draw: The Draw 1 or Draw 3 rule indicates how many cards will be turned over from the stockpile at a time.
  
• Foundations: These are the spaces used to form ascending sequences of cards, one for each suit (diamonds, clubs, hearts, and spades), starting with the Ace up to the King (K).
• Stockpile: This is where the remaining cards from the initial setup are kept, to be used for drawing.
• Unlock: When the game has no possible moves to continue, either placing cards in the foundations or the columns, it is possible to unlock the game with the designated button.
• Undo: This is when the player wants to reverse a move that was made incorrectly.
• Hint: This is a feature in MegaJogos Solitaire to help the player by indicating their next move.
• Auto-Complete: This feature appears only when all cards have been drawn from the stockpile and turned over in the columns. By clicking auto-complete, all cards are sent to the foundations automatically.
